The core hypothesis of civicdash is that promises for civic change are more likely to be kept if they are held accountable to real civic data.
civicdash’s role, then, is to make that data as accessible and actionable to the civic-minded as possible.
First, we reimagined the social dashboard by ripping out the modular, information-dense user flows common to traditional dashboards in favor of a gentler, opt-in experience to finding and analysing civic data. Furthermore, we tied individual metrics to policy prediction markets, giving citizens the ability to vote and predict the effectiveness of policy
